Become a Trauma-Skilled Yoga Teacher
A 200-hour dual certification that gives you the science, the practice and the mentorship to bring nervous system work and somatic trauma recovery into your teaching.
Join us in spreading the benefits of Neurogenic Yoga™ and Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercises® (TRE®) globally!
As a yoga instructor, you have already witnessed the profound impact that yoga can have on the body, mind, and nervous system. Yet, you sense there’s another layer, perhaps another doorway that goes beyond alignment, cueing, or even traditional sequencing.
Dive into the transformative world of Neurogenic Yoga™ and Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercises® (TRE®) – two powerful modalities designed to empower both you and your students on a journey of somatic healing and resilience.
This program is geared specifically for experienced yoga instructors (see prerequisites below) who seek to integrate profound tension and trauma release work into the yoga class setting as well as to facilitate Trauma Releasing Exercises (TRE). Our approach is designed to bring important knowledge and understanding of the nervous system and trauma recovery to the forefront of your work with individual clients and/or groups.
Imagine a practice that not only honors the science of yoga but also integrates the profound principles of neurogenic tremoring – the body's natural mechanism for releasing stored tension and trauma. Neurogenic Yoga offers you the opportunity to expand your toolkit, allowing you to guide your students towards deeper levels of healing and well-being. You’ll also learn how to facilitate Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercises, as developed by Dr. David Berceli.
The Neurogenic Yoga and TRE Dual Certification Program is appropriate for all disciplines of yoga from restorative and therapeutic methods, to vigorous vinyasa and power yoga instructors. This training is designed to enhance your biomechanical and energetic understanding of asana and pranayama in relationship to the body's natural tremor response.
Our program is designed to support you every step of the way. From personalized guidance and mentorship to ongoing support and resources, you'll have everything you need to thrive as a nervous system recovery specialist. Join us on this transformative journey and unlock the full potential of your teaching.
Your students are waiting, are you ready to lead them toward rediscovering their innate ability for self healing?

Three Phases.
One clear rhythm.
Our program unfolds across three progressive Phases: from your own personal practice, to working with individuals, to leading groups.
Learning happens on every level! Our comprehensive program is designed to allow for personal integration time, self study and professional supervisions with expert trainers. The learning material is intentionally presented over time, in phases, to ensuring that each topic is fully integrated and practiced before moving on to the next expansion topic.
Each of the three training phases combine lecture, practical experience, peer reviews, and personal observations in both private and group class sessions. This establishes a firm grounding in the material that empowers teachers to move on to teaching Neurogenic Yoga and TRE classes with confidence and skill. Each Phase follows the same four-part rhythm, giving you time to absorb and integrate before expanding. The entire program is delivered live online, so you can participate from anywhere in the world.
Weekend Intensive - Sat & Sun · 2 full days: Each Phase kicks off with a two-day immersive weekend. New material is introduced through lecture, experiential learning, and group practice. Full engagement: body, mind, and nervous system. Live attendance with the full cohort is required. All trainees are required to attend live online.
Content Sessions - 2 sessions · 2 hours each: Two focused online sessions go deeper into the phase material. Join live or watch recordings at your own pace. Each session includes a short quiz to anchor your learning. Join live or watch on video replay.
Embodiment Lab - Half-day Saturday: A half-day gathering with no presentations. Just moving, tremoring, practicing, and integrating in community. This is where the learning lands in the body. Live attendance with the full cohort is required. All trainees are required to attend live online.
Sessions & Supervision - Ongoing throughout: Between gatherings, you'll complete phase-specific requirements: private sessions with your trainer, peer teaching, and supervised student or group sessions. This is where your skills take root. Sessions and Supervisions are scheduled at your own pace.

This training reshaped my own healing journey and elevated the way I facilitate my classes and sessions. I learned how to hold space for others with full presence, and how a regulated or deregulated nervous system affects the experience of the collective.” ~ Melissa Olvera
“ Neurogenic Yoga Teacher/TRE provider training with Jennica was one of the most enriching experiences for self-development that I have ever had. Through a blend of learning scientific concepts and self-exploratory practice, the training helped me develop both as a teacher and a student.
